Saves Nine wearable adornments are the artistic production of Jessica Jubb. She resides in Perth Australia where she was born in 1975.

Jessica completed her Honours (First Class) in Visual Art (Print Media) at Edith Cowan University, Mt Lawley in 2002 after studying Psychology. Since, she has focused on the production of works for the body with concern centred on consumption and waste in the present age of mass production. Her works are characterised by the use of collected, existing materials that are combined in unique, artistic ways. All items are created and constructed individually by the artist.

The materials are cherished fabrics. Some are donated heirlooms from childhoods past, others are squeezy teen jeans... some, handmade tablecloths borrowed from grandmas' linen closet... or rescued embroidery from Op shops. Some fabrics are rash clothing purchases that she gives a new life beyond the desperate, unforgiving cycle of fashion! Each item is a small reminder of history, having a definite past and a wanting future.

The works, crafted to be cherished, should be worn until they perish!
